Stacking the Shelves is a meme posted every Saturday on Tynga's
Reviews. It's a blog post about the books you received the
previous week. I will be doing my Stacking the Shelves Post every Saturday,
too.
"In an alternate London where magical creatures are preserved in a museum, two teens find themselves caught in a web of intrigue, deception, and danger.
Vespa Nyx wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life cataloging Unnatural creatures in her father’s museum, but as she gets older, the requirement to become a lady and find a husband is looming large. Syrus Reed’s Tinker family has always served and revered the Unnaturals from afar, but when his family is captured to be refinery slaves, he finds that his fate may be bound up with Vespa’s—and with the Unnaturals.
As the danger grows, Vespa and Syrus find themselves in a tightening web of deception and intrigue. At stake may be the fate of New London—and the world."

"Some memories are better left untouched.
Ethan was abducted from his front yard when he was just seven years old. Now, at sixteen, he has returned to his family.
It's a miracle... at first.
Then the tensions start to build. His reintroduction to his old life isn't going smoothly, and his family is tearing apart all over again. If only Ethan could remember something, anything, about his life before, he'd be able to put the pieces back together.
But there's something that's keeping his memory blocked.
Something unspeakable..."

"Four girls. One magical, and possibly dangerous Italian summer. Family mysteries, ancient castles, long hot nights of dancing under the stars . . . and, of course, plenty of gorgeous Italian boys! "
"One choice can transform you--or it can destroy you. Wow, I don't know what happened but blogger somehow deleted my thoughts on my books and my summary at the end of the post... :/ I just don't have the time to rewrite a paragraph about each book. I'm so sorry but I have to write three reviews.
Anyway, I got more than a few good books this week. It was a really good week for me and I'm so excited to read everything. Please comment about the books you got and leave links to your posts if possible.
Have a good week!
Lots of fabulous books this week. I loved Insurgent and Dead To You. The Unnaturalists looks really good as does Flirting in Italian. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI have Insurgent, I just need to start reading it. But part of me thinks the longer I put off reading it, the less time I have to wait to read the final book. So we'll see when I actually pick it up.
ReplyDeleteSome great books! I loved Goddess Interrupted and Insurgent! Several of the others are on my TBR list! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHere's my haul
